- Whole-body MRI is an established and highly sensitive method for assessing the bone marrow in multiple myeloma. Where there is a valid medical indication, the cost of the scan may be covered by statutory health insurance schemes.
Rheumatic diseases
- For the assessment of inflammatory joint diseases and enthesitis, particularly where multiple areas of the body are affected (e.g. axial spondyloarthritis).
