Dr Moritz Brehmer has more than 13 years’ experience in radiology. As Chief Medical Officer, he is responsible for the medical management of Quartz HealthCare and oversees the medical and strategic development of the medical care centres in North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony-Anhalt and Bavaria. His focus is on modern diagnostics and the effective use of artificial intelligence in medical imaging.
After studying medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke, he completed his specialist training at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf and at the University Medical Centre Schleswig-Holstein (Lübeck Campus). He worked there in neuroradiology for several years.
As co-founder and Medical Director of MX HealthCare GmbH (Vara), Dr Brehmer played a key role in the development of AI-assisted mammography.
Other career milestones included positions at the Elisabeth Hospital in Berlin and at Radprax MVZ Nordrhein. Today, he holds overall medical responsibility at Quartz HealthCare.
