Quartz Healthcare acquires the Center for Radiotherapy Dr. Meinecke in Berlin

WUPPERTAL, NRW, 07.05.2026 – Quartz Healthcare Germany announces the integration of the Center for Radiotherapy and Radiation Oncology Dr. Meinecke in Berlin into the group. The established radiotherapy practice becomes part of Quartz Group and strengthens the growing healthcare network in Berlin and the surrounding Brandenburg area. With this strategic partnership, Quartz Healthcare establishes its presence in the capital of Germany. The acquisition also marks a further milestone in Quartz strategy to expand its radiotherapy activities and position the Group as a leading outpatient radiotherapy provider nationwide.

The Center for Radiotherapy and Radiation Oncology in Berlin, founded by the physician Dr. med. Andreas Meinecke, has established itself as a leading provider of outpatient radiotherapy treatments in the region and has established cooperations with several tumor boards in surrounding hospitals. At the location in Berlin Hellersdorf, approximately 1,300 Radiotherapy patients are treated annually. The state-of-the-art range of services includes the entire percutaneous radiotherapy with 3D and 4D treatment planning with a modern planning CT.

The modern equipment with two of the latest digital linear accelerators (LINAC), a planning CT, a digital SGRT-System including respiratory gating and a modern planning software, in which artificial intelligence is also used, enables the treatment of both benign and malignant diseases at the highest level. The experienced team of 4 specialized physicians as well as around 25 medical assistants and physics experts ensures high-quality patient care.

The MVZ Quartz Berlin-Hellersdorf will remain at its current location, and the entire medical and technical staff will be taken over. The site management will continue to be led by Dr. Andreas Meinecke together with Mr. Thomas Strach, who acts as Manager of the Business Unit radiotherapy of Quartz Healthcare. The Medical Lead position will remain with Dr. Meinecke. This structure ensures both continuity in proven medical care and seamless integration with Quartz Healthcare's quality standards.

The MVZ Quartz Berlin-Hellersdorf will be integrated into Quartz Nordrhein MVZ GmbH as a regional office and will benefit from the synergies and resources of the Quartz Healthcare network in the future. Investments are planned in the continuous modernization of medical technology and the further development of the already comprehensive range of services.
