WUPPERTAL, NRW, 23.03.2026 – Quartz Healthcare Germany announces the integration of Radiology Euskirchen into the group. The established radiology and nuclear medicine practice becomes part of Quartz Nordrhein MVZ GmbH and strengthens the growing healthcare network in North Rhine-Westphalia. With this strategic partnership, Quartz Healthcare continues to expand its presence in the region.

Radiology Euskirchen, founded by partner physicians Dr. med. Ulrich von Smekal, Dr. med. Ulrich Hirschfeld, and Dr. med. Matthias Hackenbroch, has established itself as a leading provider of outpatient diagnostics in the region. At the location in Euskirchen, approximately 45,000 radiological and nuclear medicine examinations are performed annually. The comprehensive service portfolio includes the complete diagnostic spectrum of MRI and CT diagnostics as well as specialized procedures such as cardiac MRI, whole-body MRI, prostate MRI, and breast MRI.

The modern equipment with 2 MRI systems, 1 CT system, digital mammography, and gamma cameras for nuclear medicine examinations enables diagnostics at the highest level. The experienced team of 8 specialist physicians and approximately 32 medical assistants ensures high-quality patient care.

Radiology Euskirchen will remain at its current location, and all medical and technical staff will be retained. The new management will be led by Birgit Stegemann on behalf of Quartz Healthcare. Medical leadership will be provided by Dr. Hackenbroch. This structure ensures both continuity in proven medical care and seamless integration into Quartz Healthcare's quality standards.

Radiology Euskirchen will be integrated into Quartz Nordrhein MVZ GmbH and will benefit from the synergies and resources of the Quartz Healthcare network. Investments are planned for the continuous modernization of medical technology and the further development of the already comprehensive range of services.
